166. Chemo Points of Interest (Part 3)

During the trip home from camping,  I happened to find myself in the town of Unity (population 2,500).  I like to wander the main streets of small towns in search of a thrift store.  You never know what you may come across in these.  I did not find such a store there, but did notice this peculiar building.  Guess what it is?

A swimming pool made to look like a lighthouse
It is an indoor swimming pool where you can take lessons, go for rehab, for leisure, etc.  I found this site late in the afternoon and did not have the chance to find more information on the facility: whether it is publicly or privately owned for instance.  In any case, it is wheelchair accessible.  Never seen anything like it.  Without the lighthouse fassade it would just be another boring building though.  What a boon to the community!

When we get visitors from overseas they often comment that on the prairies there is nothing to see.  And I get it.  To an "outsider" it may appear so.  However, all the surrounding landscape is occupied by mostly farmers, who own their own businesses if you will.  Here is a photo of a field full of straw bales.  I have never seen so many straw bales in one field.  The photo does not do it justice.
